No one dislikes gibran more than me, for everything that he is, from his molecules to his total energy and everything in between... and in my opinion, he deserves far more than sanctions along with all his conspirators/partners/associates, direct or indirect, mainly geagea, kharriri, the God of sun aoun, khromblat, el esTEEZ, Dj underground nasso, f f f franjieh, ... kellon.. I even think that they should all be hung for national treason. (No capital letters for their names intentional)
I am also aware that, US sanctioning gibran has nothing to do with his corruption, association to khizb, supporting the people, the "revolution" etc... the US sanctioning gibran came after Lebanon's asked RIGHTFULLY for 100% of his maritime borders with the Zionist/criminal state, these sanctions are to twist the arm of "the president" (being aoun, or the seat/position) to reconsider the 60/40 that's on the table... the US sanctions come by degrees, step by step, first they sanction the dog to warn the master, if no change, then they escalate... in my opinion that's blackmail, starving us, than twisting our arm, so zionist of them.
Surely Lebanon is going through a hell of a nightmare and all the players that led to this situation need to be hung upside down and slowly drop acid on them, but I will not approve these sanctions under these conditions... that's blackmail, that's rape, that's abuse, that's unjust (specially given the economical situation where lebanon needs every gallon of gas and oil if it is to breathe again). We don't need nor deserve to be raped more.
I know that having 60% is better than not having anything, but I also know that if there was nothing hugely important at the borders, the Zionists wouldn't sit on a table to negotiate, twist arms and suffocate us more. I know finalizing the borders issue will give lebanon a much needed breather, but that would also mean that the present ruling warlords/thugs class just got richer....
The internal fight is extremely important, but let's not neglect the external nor confuse shit and get played like idiots.
